Golisano to break his silence

Well for all you people who wanted to hear Tom Golisano break his silence, tune into WGRZ on Saturday night. Of course hockey won't be the main topic, but Golisano's political thoughts on New York State will be. He's spending thousands of dollars on a 30-minute spot, of course he couldn't spend the extra money to have an away post game show for Sabres games. The infomercial is formatted to look like an interview, it's done with former Buffalo News sportswriter Vic Carucci. The last 15 minutes of the infomercial is devoted to politics.

I have no clue what the first 15 minutes are going to be about, I can only assume he's going to talk hockey, considering a sportswriter is interviewing him. Maybe he'll bring up Chris Drury's plus minus or talk about Jim Basille being the devil. I'm not a big political person, and maybe I should be, but why the hell does this guy stick his nose in politics? He announced he was moving to Florida this past summer, so why not get into the Florida scene.

This interview will most likely make Sabres fans blood pressure boil over if all he talks about is politics, and keeping the stigma of being a absentee owner. I'll always say this, Golisano committed political suicide in Buffalo when he decided not to resign you know who. Before that he would of been able to carry Buffalo without dropping any sort of money on a infomercial. I wonder if he'll talk about his favorite movies like he did on "The Sabres Show" last year (sigh).
