I couldn't be more down on the Bills after Sunday's lost to the Browns. Then I saw last night's game and realized we are light years behind our division rivals, hell we aren't even in the NFL anymore.
I became jealous of both teams young talented QBs. Chad Henne was exceptional and when push came to shove he orchestrated a great game winning drive mixing the run and the pass. Seeing Henne throw 50 yard bombs through the air was like going from black & white television to color TV.
On the other side of the coin you get Mark Sanchez who adjusts to getting his newest star wide receiver Braylon Edwards involved by catching 5 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. So let me get this straight, Edwards can get traded on Thursday and learn the Jets playbook during his flight to Miami, and catch as many passes as Lee Evans has in his last 3 games?
The other factor in last night's game was that if the Bills had beat the pathetic Cleveland Browns they would be just 1 game out of first place. Now what's that mean for the season? Nothing, the team would still go 4-12 or whatever. But at least Bills fans would of had a week to be a tad optimistic about their chances this year.
BTW, I don't like our chances at all against the Jets this week. The Jets defense is going to be pissed and our offensive line is the perfect match-up for them to get their aggression out. That dude with the hat at the Jets game is going to be doing a lot of those dumb J-E-T-S chants.
