Sabres shutout the Predators 1-0

-I still don't like the idea of juggling lines, but the more I think about it, the more I like Tim Kennedy playing with Hecht and Grier. Why? Because Grier is a no non-sense player, who doesn't let anyone (even the Zamboni driver) take a shift off. He's going to take Kennedy under his wing and show him what it takes to be a professional hockey player-

- Geat work by Kennedy in assisting on the game-winning goal by controlling the puck behind the net while getting mugged by a Nashville player. He was able to pass it to Grier, who was able to follow his own shot and score. Any line Kennedy or Grier is on, is a favorite line of mine-

-Well, if you're a defensive minded hockey fan, you must be loving the Sabres attention to detail in minimizing the work Ryan Miller has to do. Miller has played well, sporting a 1.00 GAA, tops in the NHL. But he should give a lot of the credit to his defense for making his life easy. Miller has only faced 66 shots in 3 games, which is ranked 29th out of the 30 goalies who have started 3 or more games-

-Well, if you're an offensive minded hockey fan, you must be a little concerned about the Sabres offensive attack. Even with the line juggling, the Sabres went from scoring 2 goals, back to 1 goal. The Sabres rank dead last in scoring in the NHL, with 1.33 goals a game. To give you a perspective on how bad that is, 19 teams have averaged more than 3 goals a game. I've said it before, the Sabres need a play-making defenseman and centerman, if they want to be considered a top eastern conference team-

-Save of the year by Miller on Marcel Goc's short-handed breakaway in the 3rd period-

-What the hell is Celino and Barnes still doing on TV? Couldn't another law firm take over in Buffalo over the years? And why the hell do they have to be all over Sabres and Bills advertising? I just don't think Sports fans are the type of people to sue. FYI, can someone get Celino some hair plugs? or is it Barnes?-

-Memo to Sabres Intermission producers. Is that an espresso machine behind Kevin Sylvester? For God sakes, how about getting a curtain or a wall with a Sabres logo for away games-

-Where the hell is Derek Roy and Tim Connolly? How about instead of juggling the lines, you consider trading one of the two. I know, God forbid the Sabres give up too early on a player. But the two aren't getting it done-

-Sabres are 2-0-1, and will have their biggest test of the early season on Tuesday, against the Red Wings-
