Well, if you were waking up Monday morning thinking Christmas Day had come, hoping that Dick Jauron was in the unemployment line, unfortunately Ralph Wilson decided to play the Grinch who stole the Bills season.
Bills owner Ralph Wilson decided that making a coaching change in the middle of the season was not the right thing to do, at least for now.
"Yesterday was so bad that it's hard to make a decision right now," Wilson said prior to the Monday Quarterback Club luncheon. "I'm not going to make any decisions during the middle of the season right now. At least right now."
Um Ralph? How the hell could yesterday's game make a decision harder? The Bills lost to a terrible team. Owners fire coaches when they play like crap on the field. What the hell you waiting for? The Bills to lose by 40 against the Jets in Canada. Are you waiting for Dick Jauron to go into prevent mode like he did against the Cowboys? Are you looking for Edwards to roll out against the Jets and get crushed and fumble away the game?
It can't possibly get any worse! Like I've said before, Wilson isn't firing Jauron. He'll owe him at least 8 million dollars if he fires him today. This is the same owner who went to court with Wade Phillips to argue a half a million dollar contract. It's not going to happen. Again, The Dick Jauron contract extension was the worse deal Ralph Wilson ever paid for. And we are all paying for it.
