Who says blogs are all objective. I can break some news. As a follow-up to my previous blog about former Bills players being hired as consultants. I tweeted Darryl Talley and asked what sort of consultant he would make for the Buffalo Bills. Here was Talley's response.
DarryllTalley@joefromnycblog there aren't many things I can say with absolute certainty but I do know football so yes I would make a superior hire!
I followed up, and asked Talley if he would be interested in consulting and if the Bills have called him about it.
"DarrylTalley@joefromnycblog yes I would & no they haven't. I approached them years ago and they had no interest in me."
Hmm, kind of sounds that Talley may have been thinking about being a part of the Bills for a while. Also have to wonder if Sully got wind of this possibility and that's why he all of a sudden has become pro-former Bills players being brought into the organization.
As far as being slighted by the Bills, it maybe a sign that the Bills aren't as big on bringing back old-time Bills players as the public seems to be. Again, just being objective on my part.
