There seems to be a crime wave happening for Bills players

While Donte Whitner was on the field stealing passes from Bucs QB Byron Leftwich, someone was in his Orchard Park home stealing his jewelry. Someone has stolen $400,000 worth of jewelry from Whitner. Orchard Park Police are investigating the incident.

Kawika Mitchell who seems to be the spokesperson for Bills players on Twitter, tweeted the following:

"Vandalism and now robbery... Not a good reflection of the city of Buffalo. Doesn't represent the majority of ppl I've met. It's ridiculous!!"

Mind of Joe
Well I could state the obvious, what the hell does someone need $400,000 in jewelry? All kidding aside, I can't remember the last time Orchard Park was becoming the Gotham City of crime.

This crime comes less than a week after the home of CB Leodis McKelvin was vandalized. Two teenage boys were arrested for spray painting on McKelvin's lawn after he coughed up a fumble that keyed the Patriots come-back win over the Bills on Monday Night.

And all due respect to Mitchell, it's robbery. It could happen anywhere. So to say it's a poor reflection on Buffalo is stupid. It's more like a poor reflection on society, since breaking into houses became a crime. Either way I feel bad for Whitner.
